Supporting Home-Start Spelthorne

On the evening of 20th October 2025, members of Sunbury Village WI gathered at the Sunbury Con Club for a heartwarming and inspiring event. We were honoured to welcome representatives from the local charity Home-Start Spelthorne, who shared moving stories and insights into their work supporting families across our community.

Home-Start Spelthorne offers vital assistance to parents navigating difficult times, providing friendship, practical help, and emotional encouragement to ensure children have the best possible start in life. Their visit gave us a powerful glimpse into how our collective efforts are making a real difference.

We're proud to announce that Sunbury Village WI raised a total of £1044.10 for Home-Start Spelthorne. This generous donation will help the charity continue its essential work and expand its reach to even more families in need.

The evening also included our Annual Meeting, where members elected the WI President for the 2025–26 term. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the exciting plans we have in store.
