Spring Litter Pick

Sunday 23rd June 2024 9.00 am

The Spring Litter Pick starts at 9am in the car park for Surplus to Supper / Cricket Club. We can finish off the morning with a hot drink / breakfast.
Please wear appropriate clothing - all equipment will be provided on the day.

'Here you come again' - the new Dolly Parton musical' on 23rd October 2024 at 7.30pm at Woking Threatre.

Sunbury Village WI get third prize in the Spelthorne Group Meeting craft competition

Brief - Repurposing into a useful or decorative item any of the following: Jam Jars, Tin Cans, Toilet or Kitchen roll inserts. Use a maximum of 3 in any combination plus any other medium to complete this craft, Size to fit on an A4 sheet of paper.

WI 2024 Resolution - VOTING is open
Every member had the opportunity to cast their individual selection on the resolution they support the most. Sunbury Village WI committee will submit your resolution choice to the Middlesex Federation.

The shortlisted resolutions are:

  1. Dental Health Matters
  2. Impacts of poor housing condition
  3. Say 'no' to gambling advertising
  4. Improving Outcomes for Women in the Criminal Justice
Your votes have been counted. Here are the results. Impacts of poor housing condition is the winning and submitted resolution votes from SVWI.


Next steps, resolutions votes from all the WI's go forward to the national votes.  The final resolution for adoption by the WI is decided at the National AGM in May.
